Fitting and care for standard and specialty contact lenses.
Overview
The Contact Lens Service provides primary eye care for contact lens wearers, as well as specialty contact lens fittings tailored to your specific visual needs and lifestyle. We offer the latest innovations in contact lens materials, designs, and lens care systems to optimize vision correction, enhance comfort, and maximize eye health.
We fit contact lenses for the correction of myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, and presbyopia. Our optometrists receive comprehensive training on cutting-edge contact lenses designed to best serve your visual needs. Whether you're looking for a part-time alternative to glasses or need support with near vision, we offer contact lens options that can work for you.
We also manage ocular conditions that require medically necessary contact lenses to achieve functional vision. These conditions include keratoconus, post-surgical corneal irregularities, and other corneal diseases.
Some of the contact lens options we offer include:
- Daily disposable lenses
- Astigmatism-correcting lenses
- Bifocal and multifocal lenses
- CRT (corneal refractive therapy)
- Scleral lenses
- Hybrid lenses
- Gas permeable lenses
- Ocular prosthetics
We recommend annual comprehensive eye evaluations for all contact lens wearers.

Tips for Healthy Contact Lens Wearers:
- Schedule regular annual eye examinations.
- Contact your eye care professional immediately if you experience symptoms of an eye infection, such as redness, pain, excessive tearing, increased light sensitivity, blurry vision, or the sensation of something in your eye.
- Remove contact lenses before any activity involving water, including showering, using a hot tub, or swimming.
- Wash your hands with soap and water, and dry them before handling contact lenses.
- Clean contact lenses according to the manufacturer’s guidelines and your eye care provider’s instructions.
- Use fresh cleaning or disinfecting solution each time lenses are cleaned and stored. Never reuse or “top off” old solution.
- Never use saline solution or rewetting drops to disinfect lenses.
- Wear and replace contact lenses according to the schedule prescribed by your eye care professional.
- Store lenses in their proper storage case.
- Rinse the storage case with sterile contact lens solution and allow it to air dry.
- Replace storage cases at least once every three months.
